Forced Perspective

1.  the images are all of people holding objects, standing on them or holding people.

2. these images use forced perspective because in all of the pictures, the subject is far away and the object or other subject is closer to the camera. for example, in the balloon picture, the subjects hand is closer to the camera and the balloon is far away. this makes it seem like the person is holding a small ballon in his fingers up.

3. I think they created this forced perspective by placing an object or person close to the camera. Then they placed another person or object really par in the background to create the image they wanted.

4. I would have put some objects really close to the camera. then I would have put the person really far in the background to make them seem small.

5. The line of sight affected the picture because you have to have the camera at a certain angle to get the picture you want or else it'll look off. Depth of field is important because you have to adjust the camera lens to capture the space you want and the focus.

1. The image is of a person holding a teakettle up to the sky near some clouds.

2. This image uses forced perspective to make it seem like it's steam blowing out of the kettle by holding it up to the clouds.

3. I think they created this forced perspective by finding some clouds that looked like steam and then they held up the teakettle int he right position.

4. I would have created it by placing the teakettle on a flat surface instead of holding it up.

5. line of sight, depth of field and distance affected the picture in a good way because the clouds were really far up in the sky but the camera is positioned in a way that makes them seem closer to the teakettle.

1. The image is of a person holding their fingers up to a balloon.

2. This image uses forced perspective to make it seem like the person is holding a small balloon up to the sky.

3. I think they created this image by  holding the camera down at an angle, then having the person hold up their fingers to the balloon.

4. I would have created it by having the whole person be in the shot.

5. line of sight, depth of field and distance affected the picture because the hand was really close the camera.

1. This is an image of a person who appears to have big feet.

2.This image uses forced perspective by putting the shoes close to the camera and having the person sit far in the back.

3. I think they created this image by putting shoes far away from the person and close to the camera. The person was placed far in the background and the shoes were adjusted to cover the person's feet.

4. I would have created it the same way but i would of had another person in the shot doing the same thing.

5. line of sight, depth of field, and distance affected the shot because it made the person look big, but not as big as the shoes that are closer to the camera.

1. This image is of a person touching the top of a lighthouse.

2. This image uses forced perspective to make it seem like the girl is touching the top of the light house when she actually isn't.

3. I think they created this by standing next to the lighthouse but as far away as they could. Then the girl held up her hand to the top of the lighthouse to make it seem like she was touching it.

4. I would've created it by putting her a but farther away from the lighthouse to make her seem even bigger.

5. line of sight, depth of field, and

Black and White Independent Project

I chose to do black and white as my independent project. I chose this because black and white makes things look eerie. It also brings out the detail in some images. It makes some details look lighter or darker and gives it a nice contrast.
