Collage

1. The altered portrait that was the hardest to create was the recolor. It was hard because the colors had to be perfect so that the coloring wouldn't look out of place or weird.
2. The altered portrait that was the easiest to create was the image overlay. It was easy because all you had to do was pick another image and blend it in with the first image.
3. Altered portrait to a viewer might mean that the photographer has messed with the image to make it look better or more interesting. To a photographer it could mean that they're making the image more interesting or more exciting.
4. Out of the seven portraits i would most likely create the collage again. I would create the collage again because it is easy and it's fun. It's fun to mess around with different images and put them together to see what you create.
5. The historical significance behind the hand colored portrait is that back then, they only had black and white photography. So they would take a black and white image and color over it to make it colorful.
6. It is important to learn to alter portraits because if you ever become a photographer or someone who helps with photography, you might have to alter images.
7. Not all portraits should be altered. Some portraits already look really cool on their own. Some images might not look as good so the person might want to change it.
8. By altering a portrait, it allows you to change certain aspects that you might not like. You can add effects and extra lighting to make it look better. Or you can add different things to make it look unique.
Blur Motion

1. Blur motion is capturing an image of a moving object or background while the subject or background is still.
2. I created blur images with the camera by adjusting the shutter speed to go on longer, while the subject/object moved around in a still background.
3. In photoshop, I adjusted the brightness and vibrance levels. For some of the images I turned them black and white to bring out the blur of the object a bit more.
4. The difficult part about shooting the image was the shutter speed and getting the right pictures. We tested different shutter speeds before settling on a speed we thought was good enough for blur motion. It was also difficult to get the objects moving.
5. The easy part about editing was cropping to a perfect size and adjusting brightness and vibrance levels to make the blur in the image show more.
